Ann and Nadine barely escaped a very big truck with a trailer the same size. One Friday evening they took the shortcut to Hugo en Inger’s place. It is a single lane road on which you are allowed to drive two-ways. It has steep road bankings. Ann and Nadine had just left when they faced with this big truck that came thunderous their way. The driver stepped on his pedal and began to slip.

Ann tried to turn the car as far as she could direction the right road banking and came to standstill … it all happened superfast. In the meantime Ann and Nadine could smell the rubber of the tires of the truck that drove on the other side straight on the high road banking and came passed their car squinted to standstill. If the truck would have stand a little bit more squinted, it might have turned over. There was hardly any space between the truck and Ann and Nadine’s car. Ann backed up the car and drove carefully to the nearest ramp 100 meters away in order for the truck to pass by. When it passed by the driver stopped to check if everything was ok. Even at that point you could still smell the burned rubber… Ann and Nadine did not understand how they escaped, but they felt as if they were enormously protected by a lot of angles.
