On Sunday 15th December we held a thanksgiving service in our church. We all thank Father together every year at the closing of the year and each time the whole church is greatly encourage by everything Father has done and spoken in the lives of our brothers and sisters.
This year too we were flooded with testimonies. We like to share some with you to give you an impression of the service.

Very many people came forward to thank Father for who He is to them, even when the circumstances are difficult with illnesses or death of a loved one. He is our comforter, the God of life, He never forsakes us, He is faithful and full of love…
Two people specifically thanked God for His loving reprimands in our lives… He wants us to grow!
Father protects and delivers: Hugo Roelen has no adverse effects from his heart attack; Josée is recovering after a stroke; Ingrid was protected when everything went wrong during a dialysis; Sam fell on his head twice and a wasp sting in his mouth remained without negative consequences, the daughter and husband of Lia were clearly protected from traffic accidents; Hilde fell and had a dented vertebrae but was not paralyzed while in the hospital someone with a similar injury was paralyzed ... and so we can go on for hours ... thank you Father for your protection...
Jasmijn and Wouter are the proud parents of a healthy daughter, after a successful birth. After having longed for years to have a baby, Hugo and Danny’s daughter had a healthy son. Philippe and Ingrid are the proud grandparents of Zoe, the doctors thought the baby wouldn’t be viable…(you can read the whole story on our website/testimonies)… Zoe is doing very well!
Liesbeth and Cora gave thanks for the house Father gave to each of them, and Vera thanked for all those things we take for granted but in fact they are very special: a roof over our heads, a car, food, clothing, of everything enough for ourselves and even more to share…You are our Provider!!!
Imelda came forward to thank because she could provide for her parents… unlikely soon she and her husband found a retirement home where both her parents could stay (her mother is in a closed ward for dementia) and moreover it is a really homely home.
Many people thanked for physical healing: no more pain after collapsed vertebrae, a frozen shoulder that evolves well, an impending thyroid surgery that proved unnecessary, an ovarian tumor which eventually turned out to be benign etc.
Emmanuelle thanked because in Jesus’ strength she can now forgive and even bless people that hurt her!
Many thanked for the tangible and visible love in our church, that it is a place where they feel at home, where they can help and assist each other, a place where they can flourish. Hopefully this circle of people will continue to grow… there is room for many more!!!!

Did you know :

Hugo could talk in May about the blessing notebook at Eurospirit in Amsterdam?
We still meet with and hear from people that remember his message well and who are now also counting their blessings?
We had a beautiful display booth? Our staff wore nurses’ aprons and after Hugo’s message they were able to pray with very many sick people? Cora explained the blessing notebook to her two pupils of the religion class she teaches? Those children maintain their notebook faithfully and both surrendered their life to Jesus this school year?
It is a delight for us to see how Father has equipped a huge team of people to service and minister through our church and healing school?
We could baptize six people in 2013?
On the Siloam, we could again witness how Father deeply touched and healed many? You can read those testimonies on the website?
Many people from our church work as volunteers in retirement homes? So they can pass on Father’s love to the elderly? They enjoy it greatly?
The guitar team gave a Christmas performance in two homes? Especially the dementia patients showed great eagerness? The team could also pray for healing with these people? In the last nursing home they could hand out 20 copies of the New Testament?
Jasmijn’s washing machine works again after prayer and so does her sister's boiler?
