Unexpectedly a new job

Jan lost his job May 2016 by mutual agreement with his boss. He could not handle his job in construction anymore due to severe back problems.

In July 2017 the hernia has gotten so worse that certain nerves in his right leg were not functioning anymore as they should. Jan was urgently operated on his back. Rehabilitation went by reasonably smooth.

In the fall of 2017 Jan and Ann attended our weekly church meeting. Jan Sjoerd Pasterkamp spoke that morning on the spiritual authority of a man.

Healing during trip on Siloam

For many years already, the Siloam Foundation organize boat trips departing from Kampen (Holland). The last three years Hugo, Inger, Ann and Nadine were allowed to provide a Bible study on the ship, each time during one week. Last year the theme was "Life and abundance", this year "To understand Father's voice". Ank, a lady from Elburg, is joining in at the Siloam trips for 14 years already. We got to know her last year. Also this year she registered for the holiday week where we would speak. As soon as she got on the boat, she told her testimony of last year.

Pinched nerve loosens after prayer

Carine tells you the story:

“Monday 6th January, during the course of the day an awkward feeling settled in my left buttock… pretty painful! It felt like something was squeezed. On Tuesday I went to the evening service, all the time it felt like my left leg was shorter than the right one. After the meeting I went to see Ann and told her about it. Ann said a pinched nerve in my back was the most likely cause and she prayed for me. I accepted it … and I was convinced it would be all right.

Wednesday evening I suddenly realized the ailment had disappeared. That night I wholeheartedly thanked my heavenly Papa, He is simply great!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life….and yours too of course!”
