Also small healings are big miracles

Also small healing are big miracles!

For some weeks already, Elly was suffering from a wound on her gums. In fact she was constantly in pain, but when she was eating or drinking it still increased. Very embarrassing... On a Sunday during the worship in church Elly stood waving a flag. On a certain moment, Ann told God was going round healing and she spurred the people on to receive their healing. At that moment, Elly was not occupied at all with the wound in her mouth, but she joined in, pronouncing aloud that she was receiving her healing. Back home, while eating, she suddenly noticed that the wound on her gums was entirely healed...

On a Saturday Elly was extracting weeds amidst the sunflowers. Although Elly is wearing glasses, a sunflower leaf hit her eye. This was very painful, and the eye became visibly inflamed and red too. On Sunday after the meeting Elly asked for prayer. In the afternoon the pain had got much better and the next morning all trouble had gone!

The Father heart of God? I already know that!

“I already know it all – so I thought. I had read and heard a lot about the Fatherheart of God, knowing the songs about “His Fatherheart that has been caring for me for so long” I prayed to “Father in heaven.”

I didn’t expect to learn something new at the conference about this topic. Nevertheless… I discovered during this week that the Fatherheart school is not about learning more about God’s Fatherheart, but rather to help you experience the love of the Father. It wasn’t about the concept of God as Father but about the love of My Father for me. E.g. during that week He spoke to me in the silence of my heart : “My Love casts away your fears.” And I am worth it to receive His Love! That makes it suddenly very personal, it is about His relationship with me, who He wants to be for me and who I am in His sight!”

Sorting!

In Belgium we figured it out: the time that you could just dump your trash on the sidewalk for the garbage truck to pick it up is long gone. Television, glass, cans, green waste… everything used to end up in 1 bag, cart or box. If people back then would have told us one day we would be sorting that junk ourselves, we would have had a good laugh about it. Now, as the years have passed, we are there: we are so used to sorting the stuff, that we are shocked when we find someone that does not do so, because it serves our environment!

So who did invent sorting really? God, of course!
You could object that when God created the world there was no paper trash nor were green waste containers required. But God taught us how to sort more than merely visible trash. He also taught us sorting our thoughts, a practice that, if well done, contributes to a happy life.

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly thing” (Colossians 3:2) is His commandment. “demolish strongholds… that sets itself up against the knowledge of God…” (2 Corinthians 10:3-6) is another advice He gave us. After all these years some of us have still not excelled in this type of sorting. All too often we still fill ourselves with every possible thought and junk that we can find, the media being well-willing to serve our every need...

With the holidays coming up my suggestion to you is this: try sorting your thoughts, leading them instead of them leading you. This type of sorting will change your life, and in time, the whole world!

Enjoy your holidays!
Many blessings,

Hugo
