Resist the devil and he will flee from you

Some two months ago one day François got up and felt a strong pain in his right foot. He could barely stand on it and he couldn’t bear having his shoelace tied. It was a biting, sharp pain. It reminded him of the pain he felt once when he broke a small bone in his hand. François prayed over it and at home he wore open slippers, outside he wore loose fitting shoes. The pain was on and off and bothered him a lot. François didn’t want to go the doctor for fear they would give him a plaster and he didn’t want that for his job at church. The funny thing was each time he was working in church, he felt no pain. Once home, the pain would come back. Two or three weeks ago he got so fed up with the situation, he became really angry at the devil and commanded him to release his foot. The pain left and never came back….

Looking back on a wonderfull Fatherheartschool

Over the fall vacation of 2006 we had for the second time a Fatherheartschool in Torhout. This year also the school was booked full months in advance. We were a group of 84 participants. Dutch and Flemish and a woman from Estland presently staying in Belgium. The profoundly anointed teaching of James and Denise Jordan and Ian Ross brought us again closer to Father’s heart. We received many beautiful testimonies from this life changing week. This time it were last years participants who encouraged their brothers and sisters to join in (even 29 people from our church!). In March 2012 the back specialist told Ludwine she needed surgery. She had a narrowing of the spinal canal thereby pinching the nerves.

Without surgery, this would lead to paralysis of the legs and life in a wheelchair. She was startled at this diagnosis, but together with Jesus she could cope. So we prayed for a smooth surgery and a miraculous recovery. On 28th June 2012 Ludwine had a successful surgery. The rehabilitation took a long time but went smoothly. All the while Ludwine kept saying she couldn’t have gone through this without her faith in a loving Father who gave her the strength to persevere with patience and in tranquility. The many cards, phone calls, prayers and visits of people from church were certainly a big help too.

At the last check up at the specialist one year after the surgery X-rays were taken. The specialist was visibly surprised and said that the cartilage at the spot of the surgery was restored. This is exceptional as with most patients this takes up to 3 or 4 years but Ludwine was already healed! Now Ludwine could tell the doctor that she was very grateful for his precious hands but also that she prayed and that God took over once the specialist had finished his part!
